Do You Remember Me?, December 21, 2008
From Candy Corvin , candycaneinok@yahoo.com

Hi Doug and Vida, I hope you will remember me. You wrote with me back in 1982, when I had Mega Records and Sha-Mel Music. Just wanting to touch base with you guys. I'm still writing lyrics, and currently have them with a publisher in Nashville, and also with Gary LeVox of Rascal Flatts. You can see my myspace page, it is public. Its myspace.com/candycaneinok. I would love to hear from you guys.
Merry Christmas and God Bless,
Candy

Firemerchants of olde., January 11, 2007
From Brent Postlethwaite , chickenlamp@shaw.ca

Perhaps you remember Brent and H roadying for firemerchants back in the early nineties. Doug! you shaved yer 'ead! Actually so did I (pretty well had to). I miss those days and remember well when Vida got up and belted out that number at what was it, club lingerie or some other place? whatever, I will never forget that! After all this time, and with this media now available to me, Google them I thought, and there you were. So glad you are still together and producing music when so much love falls by the wayside around us; stronger than ever! John Goodsall is next to impossible to track down but I expected that, flying under the radar. "Typical" as he would probably say. Welsh Author Nigel Graddon contacted me and wanted to know if I could find the elusive John G, he knew John '68-'78. The search is on! I'd appreciate any help if you have any. I'm going to check out the rest of your most excellent site now, I have 14 years of musical catching up to do. Fondest regards, Brent P. Tried your Email but it was returned with fatal errors!

Hi Doug and Vida, December 07, 2002
From Steve Campanella , stevec@pantheonIT.com

Hey Doug and Vida,

I came across your site. Very cool music and a slick looking site as well. I had a listen to the music. I especially enjoyed "Dance of the Waters/Yenanja ".

How's Donnie these days? Is she a pro bass player like her dad yet? Tell her hello for me as well as any FATE alumni you happen to see.

I'm living in Seattle and lovin it! Been here sense 95. I do comedy improv with Seattle's own "Theatre Sports" improv theatre.

I've been working in the tech field as a systems engineer for the last six years and diggin it. I run my own company http://www.pantheonIT.com I named the company after the 2000 year old roman temple that still stands today in Rome. The Pantheon was a sacred temple where all great minds would meet (writers, philosophers, engineers).

If you want to see me make a complete ass out of myself and have a laugh at the same time check out a cheesy website I built a while ago. I did a funny parody of a Bill Gates commercial that aired a year ago on TV. I highly recommend you watching the original commercial before watching the parody.

If you click the below link you can view the original TV Commercial that

aired:

http://www.microsoft.com/presspass/download/asx/04-06tvad/56k.asx

To see the parody of this commercial visit my website at:

Hope you guys are well and safe. If your ever in Seattle give me a ring. Id love to see you

Peace, love and cheers in the new year,

Steve

From Ed Lucas , tapkae@mac.com

NP "I feel like crying"...
I'm hearing Vida for the first time, but frankly I have more listening time in with Doug, in Waternoise, FM, and Keneally. Doug is the S**t! I've been latched onto his playing for years now, and having just started playing fretless bass, he's role model #1 for me right now on that instrument. Dig. Very musical, very tasty playing--every context I hear him in...I need to get the Vida CD!
